How it works

From scattered updates to one shared view.

A chain does not live in any one firm's system. Haste Est8 brings together relevant professional updates, links the related sales, shows the evidence and gives the right person a next step.

Where the information comes from

Relevant updates, with a record of their source.

Progress can come from a participating firm’s validated system connection, a professional recording an update, or a reply to a focused request.

The platform records the relevant milestone and when and where it was reported. It links related transactions and uses that information to show status, dependencies and open work.

Professionals review uncertain matches and updates that need confirmation. Each person gets the part of the picture appropriate to their role: branch work, professional context or their own move.

Five steps

How separate updates become a useful action.

Each stage has a clear job. The chain can grow link by link, while uncertain matches and unconfirmed milestones remain honestly labelled.

  1. 01 / LISTEN

Receive progress from the tools firms already use.

Participating agency and conveyancing systems can send relevant events. Historical backfill and reconciliation help build an accurate starting point and catch later changes.

  2. 02 / MATCH

Connect the sales that depend on each other.

Property information and professional confirmation join related transactions. Possible matches are shown for review; ambiguous connections are parked rather than guessed.

  3. 03 / CONFIRM

Record the source, time and basis of each milestone.

A reported update is not automatically a confirmed fact. Critical milestones can require independent confirmation, and conflicting sources remain visible.

  4. 04 / CHASE

Ask the responsible professional a focused question.

When a blocker or missing update needs action, a structured request can be sent. A secure reply link gives a professional outside the platform a simple way to answer.

  5. 05 / EXPLAIN

Give each person the view they are allowed to see.

Branches see chain work and responsibility. Conveyancers see relevant context. Movers see their own progress in plain English without another household's private details.

The chain as a whole

The current bottleneck is more useful than five separate statuses.

A chain view shows linked sales, the active blocker and the person who can answer. It does not claim the chain is complete when an end is still unknown.

When a firm is not integrated

A secure reply can fill an important gap.

One branch can begin with its own workflow. When another professional needs to provide an update, a time-limited, focused link can collect the answer without asking that firm to join a new system first.

The reply becomes a sourced record for the relevant sale. Failed delivery and responses that need a person’s review remain visible as work.

Read the status

Progress has more than one state.

The interface pairs every state with text and context. Colour alone never decides what a milestone means.

◈ Reported

A source supplied an update; required confirmation may still be pending.

✓ Confirmed

The milestone has the basis needed for the shared view.

! Disputed

Sources disagree, so the claim needs review.

◷ Waiting

The step or answer has not arrived yet.

■ Blocked

A specific exception is holding progress.

✓ Completed

A finished milestone remains in the sale history.
